I was gonna take this week off, but maybe it's better to start this thread.
These gems are lifted from my memory card from the past few days atmo.

I took a little time to catch my breath and return some emails, and eased back in with a fun sport touring fork (bike down the road a hair):
Crappy pictures of a very green frame. In keeping with the theme, 1" chainstays are beefy. Call it the Incredible Hulk, maybe.

Luke come up from Byron Bay to collect his Cadenzia Roadie with it's Son Delux-Edelux -Compass light integration.
Currently working on Arno's Cadenzia, similar to Luke's but this will also have GB stainless guards.

The rock star is dying. And it's a small tragedy. Rock stars have blogs now. I have no use for that kind of rock star.

A bit of a side project for a friend. It's a late 60's Norton frame that needed new down tubes and an extended swing arm.
Cut out the dented and bent down tubes then pried the frame open slightly to fit in new tubes with inner sleeves on both ends.
Frame Fit 01.jpg
I used 3 spot welds to hold the inner sleeves in place for the down tubes. Before making a fusion pass and fill pass.

Here are the extensions for the swing arm.
Extension 01.jpg
The swing arm had to be held in a temporary fixture.

I fused the sleeve to the tube insert then fused it to the swing arm tube.

Back to building carbon bicycle frames. Welding tubing this thick with an air cooled torch is no fun.

And after all God can keep my soul
England have my bones
But don't ever give me up
I could never get back up when the future starts so slow
No longing for the moonlight
No longing for the sun
No longer will I curse the bad I've done
If there's a time when your feelings gone, I wanna feel it
