Slim-fit work dungarees

I left most of my work clothes in Ethiopia last week and desperately need some new work pants. Is there anything out there with a Carhartt-dungaree type material that fits something like a 511? It's gotta come in a 32x34 (preferably a 32x36). Thx.

Closer to a 514, but the Mountain Khaki "broadway fit" Original Mountain Pant if pretty swell.

I live in small town, but around here there aren't shopping options. If you want "work wear" it's jeans from the mall, Carhartt, or Dickies. If you are looking for duck pants that are not these, its mail order.

There are some fancy-pants stuff, and Carhartt has their upscale line, but for work pants for guys that don't need leg tents, it's a little harder to source. I'd also be open to suggestions- and $200+ Japanese "work wear" doesn't count.

I like some of the Blaklader offerings. They can be had for a very reasonable price if one looks hard enough. I have some and they have been fantastic.

I'm a very skinny person and I have a hard time finding pants in my size that actually fit me, let alone in a cut that suits my sense of style. (size 28 waist)

but for workwear, these all work for me, and none are of the widelegged variety like carhartts

levis 501 shrink to fits (buy them a size down in the waist and they'll stretch out to fit you and also be a bit slimmer)
dickies regular twill pants
dickies slim straight twill pants
dickies skinny straight pants in both twill and regular denim
rustler straight leg jeans in raw denim ($13 from kmart) a surprisingly good and durable jean

anyways, check the dickies site for their various offerings. cheap too.

Mountain Khakis are great drawls that can be used to work in the yard or to wear to the office.

I am wearing $30 Carhartt jeans in my office job right now.

I'm in these. They're really nice, slim, not overly expensive and gave just the right amount really quickly. Other offerings from them are nice too.....

I got these in gray about a month ago: Hawkings McGill Regular Straight Chino Pant - Urban Outfitters I like them enough to go out and buy three more pairs in black, tan, and light brown. $40 each.

I'm pretty much set for casual pants until these things start wearing out.

I've recently stocked up on the Gap lived-in slim. Cheap with a coupon always available. Comfortable right away and they fit great with plenty of color options. They're pretty much all I wear now for both work or play. The only thing that changes is whether my shirt has a collar.

The Gap slim is between skinny and regular. When my thighs were really big I had to size up a few sizes to fit, but I've lost a fair amount of weight thanks to a couple injuries over the last 3 years, so now I only have to size up a little. I go for a 31W even though I'm really around a 29. Enough to get more room in the thigh without too much excess space at my waist. The skinny fit are laughable...I can't get them past my calves.

No chit. Baggies fit me like slims fit most people.
