Default 3 bolt Anything Cage fork mount

Is there a spec for the three bolt fork blade mounts as used by Salsa? If not, could anyone with a Salsa grab me the measurements? I know they're 63mm apart as usual but it's the height of the bottom one and the distance off the centreline that's puzzling me.

I'm sure this is something I could do by eye but I know those who have gone before will have thought about it plenty already so I may as well follow them rather than go 'hmm, that looks about right...'

it's really up to you. I recently looked into this because I am building a bike with these fittings. Salsa/Surly have them all over the forks, no rhyme or reason to it. The real decision is how far clocked you want to have the cage. The height will depend on what you want to put in the cage. On my fatbike, I had water bottle cages put in the top two holes, and it was nice to be able to reach them from the saddle. If they were too far down, that wouldn't work. But a lot of bikes with anything cages will have a bag hanging from the handlebars, so you really would rather not have too much interference.

Thanks, Eric. I kind of had a feeling it might be like that.

Looked at a few pictures and it seems like the top bolt is usually about rim level, so I went for that.

Had an uncharacteristic moment of lucidity and realised that if I tried to offset all three holes the same distance from the centreline it would be wonky as the blades taper, so I've put them all down the middle.

I'll report back how it turns out.

    (Probably no-one will die)
