I've got this super crappy Nuvo H20 system. Not only does it do nothing it says, but also has other hidden features, like making the water smell like sewage. So I am getting rid of it. I just needed to make sure I was going about it the right way.
Fortunately, where the lines come into the filters (see below), it is threaded. 1" pipe, it looks like. So I am going to undo it, add in a threaded coupling on both sides(see second picture) and glue in a PVC pipe in between the existing pipes. Any issues with doing this? Seems like a simple enough job that I didn't bother calling a plumber. Plus, they are so booked right now, it's hard to even get a call back from most subs.
