Of course that changes as I rotate the fixture, nice that all joints can be accessed easily from a sitting position.

I think mine's is set around 40" or so usually but it's adjustable and I move it often. I use the EVT Right Arm stand and love that I can align the joint I'm working on with the axis of rotation...that way I can rotate the frame and the joint is the same height all the time.

My fab table is belly button high and work goes up from there. Most people think it's a really tall table but when you work off it you realize it's perfect. I will say that I'm pretty ape like with most of my height above the belt line. I will say if I had to do it over I would have put a bottle jack into the mix so that I could adjust the work height. But I've yet to wish it was shorter. If you're welding frames out of a repair clamp they are super adjustable and height is less of an issue.
