Since the late ‘80s I’ve felt a synergy between independent horology and framebuilding, and have tried to find common bonds. They do exist. Witness the Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI) as one example.

The similarities between framebuilding and watchmaking are uncanny. If you’re truly interested in raising the bar, studying these things is a must according to my opinion. I’m pasting this into several platforms because I’m passionate about what I do.
