    Default Belt

I recently purchased a new belt to wear with my traditional, classic suits (think Brooks Bros.). It didn't register until I got home that the buckle is silver, not the more traditional brass color and I'm having second thoughts. What do you think? Any recommendations for good belts that won't break the bank?

    Thanks!

I have been wearing Allen Edmonds belts. Very nice, quality. Made in the USA.

Brass colored buckle means sometimes you can cheat a bit on shoe color with the right suit. Dark brown or two tone. But silver buckle means black shoes.

Interesting. Since I wear a burgundy cap-toe shoe I need to stick with a brass buckle?
