We had that Lange poster hanging in our house for years. I suffered through numerous pairs of those boots and bruised shins because of it.
I may have to ski this winter. Didn't see the slopes one time last winter.....
If I weren't a cyclist I'm 99% sure I'd be a ski bum. The cycling thing hit me first. My first trip to real mountains was when I was about 12 and I was in love. Fortunately I was already obsessed with bicycles.
I think my boots are Lange.
La Cheeserie!
She didn't age particularly well, did she?
Outward appearance is no guarantee of skiing ability. Starting young is the single most important thing.
La Cheeserie!
Lange bang! I knew better and I still bought a pair and beat myself up.
My shop time was the 80s and early 90s. Posters of women in lingerie and Langes, back behind the wall where the tuners worked and the good music was turned up loud.

We can't wait for ski season.

Get ready for lots of pizza and french fries. Good on you.
Went to the ski shop today. #2 son blew his farm wages on race boots and slalom skis.
PS I came here looking for Lange girls and was only disappointed once.
PPS #1 son blew his instructing wages on park boots and skis at the end of last season.
PPPS No new gear for me this year.
Rear entry. 'Nuff said.
I laugh at your (and mine) former Lange bang every time I put on my tele boots.
Oh yeah, stoked for more of this:
i recently lost my prized lange hoodie which also had a stockli patch on it, a painful loss! suffered yrs of lang bang racing. hot boots. at my folks hse are my 1st skis from age 3. can't wait to get after it this year, feeling like i'm in good shape and ready to rip.
you're not the lord of the flies
During a spring cleaning a couple years ago my Lange Tii Team's finally found their way to the dumpster.
They had been highly customized and worked on by BootWorks in Park City (24 years ago - wow).
The fellow that tuned them up for me was a ski boot Houdini.
Skiing is awesome. And this thread needs more lange girls

I guess I should not add the Lange "Keep your tips up" poster to this thread since it is, technically, its a ski advertisement.
For the record, most Langes are no longer pain palaces of old but they are still a bitch to get in and out of.
EDIT: As I was typing this it appears that sailer made to the photo connection.

I guess I started young. But I skied probably 4 times a year until I was in college. I love tree skiing and the rougher conditions, got the bug for powder in college. My girlfriend spent every weekend at sugarloaf growing up and has a lot more skill then me, it sure is good to ski with someone who has more technical skills and ability.
