Default Show us your "Local Best Stuff"

I have been lucky enough to travel some, and sample the local fare. Each part of our beautiful country, and in fact, since the
V-Salon is now worldwide, every town worldwide, has a local speciality, a "one thing" you can get in your town.

Binghamton,NY has it's speedies, Chicago has hotdogs, NYC has great pizza, New Orleans, San Fran, and so on.

I'll start with a local treat, stuffed clams, baked with spicy sausage and seasoned bread crumbs. "Stuffies' to a local.

This is going to be good. I need a few days to get pics from the fisherman's wharves.

Man, I don't know where to start. Crawfish/Shrimp Etoufee, Boiled crawfish, Jambalaya, Gumbos of many kinds, Corn Maque Choux, rice dressing, Boudin, Chicken Fricasseé, Chicken Sauce Piquante, Shrimp Eggplant Pirogue. Just to name a few things.

They use simple food, that is perfectly cooked and seasoned just enough to bring out more flavor. The variety of fresh seafood is unparalleled and the vegetables, seasonings and meats are known the world over. It's a wonder I am not 600 pounds.

Cajun cooking seems to offer an endless variety of wonderful food. Should I start on describing Creole food now?
    Good cyclists are:
Visible, Predictable, Alert, Assertive and Courteous

They also use the five layers of protection available.
    Layer 1: Control your bike
Layer 2: Know and follow the rules of the road
Layer 3: Ride in the smartest lane position
    Layer 4: Manage hazards skillfully
    Layer 5: Utilize passive protection.

Dusty's Bar | Home of the Dago Went here for lunch today. North East Minneapolis. Nobody in their right mind would stop in this neighborhood unless they were local. Seriously good food for $5 and beer to boot....

I feel like I'm betraying locals letting the cat out of the bag but this is VSalon and we are superior.
    Nick's Fish House and Grill
Nick's Fish house is where Baltimore locals and alot of Ravens fans go for Natty Bo and Hardshell crabs. In good weather sit outside next to the water. If you have a boat there are free slips.
Crabs are excellent and very local. I know crabs, this is as good as it gets unless I catch them and cook for you.
*It is not easy to find. Use a GPS.

"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk
