If you are a big fish they waive the minimum but for smaller guys they hit you with this during the summer. In january they will take an order for a single valve cap.

I try to avoid using Q at all costs... I don't know about the Midwest, but here in the East we have 3 smaller distribuitors to choose from to pick up little odds and ends, and for build kit stuff, well, use SBA. SBA absolutely rules.
SBA is great and we definitely use them, but they're only as great as the stuff they have in stock and whether or not they actually ship what you order. I normally have things get backordered or I'll get an email saying that they don't have an item (which is nice) and then I'll order something different and then I receive both items. One supposedly out of stock.
I realize that 'hey, it happens' and for the most part just deal with it - as we are definitely little fish - but the time I got those red Look sprint pedals. Well, I got and RA number and shipped those back. :)

thanks for the input, didn't think about the summer swell.
i do use SBA for some things, john cobb is great and has helped me out in the past. i just find that for a random assortment of small(er) items at one time, qbp is very easy and their ship time to cleveland is faster than anyone else.
I just orders there yesterday and was told I have a 175 minimum ...if I did not reach it I would have a fee of....30 dollars...
that is crazy, and I should know. I worked there for 11 years.
I know how the things work, and I think that a 10 buck fee is ok. But 30?
That is just past the "really ??" point....
SBA here I come.
