Visited Flagstaff last spring, what a great place! Wish I made the connection that your shop is there, would have been nice to visit if you do that sort of thing. We've managed to avoid almost any real snow in the Boulder bubble so far this winter. I don't think we've had more than 6" at once.

Other than the disaster that ensues I LOVE the silence a giant snowfall brings.

We had 15-18" in Kingman, AZ, about 2 hours west and 3000' feet lower than Flagstaff. Biggest since the 40's. It all fell on Wednesday night into Thursday. Thursday night was 20 degrees so it all got a nice layer of ice and then last night was 12 degrees but now it's 45 and all melting away. I've got tree limbs everywhere and the landscaping close to the house is trashed. The rest of the yard is desert, it'll be fine.

We have a big house and spare rooms. Abandon the west, it is doomed. The riding is good and dog is friendly.

Only if you failed to prepare or tried to do something dumb like use the interstates, which luckily ADOT had the wherewithal to close mostly proactively, although a couple closed themselves.

It's open today as long as the thaw doesn't cause rockslides or anything - people don't know we are the 5th snowiest city in the USA, we are at 7000 ft elevation.

It snowed down to 1000ft in Baja !!!!

I know what you're going through. We've had almost 2" so far today and it's still coming down. I may have to leave a few minutes early to get to the movies on time.

Slightly more seriously, we had to abandon plans to see friends in Salem today, since the city declared a snow emergency and banned street parking. Did they forget it snows in New England?

And seriously, finally: you got a shit-ton of snow. Wow.
