    Saddleback is the word.

I've been using the basic card holder happily for a few months now. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Weird to think I was carrying around a checkbook a few years ago. Who takes checks anymore?!

I don't carry a wallet. But if I did, I'd hunt down one of those one-piece Woolrich wallets that never seem to be available.

I used to go mafia style with the fat broccoli rubber band, until my girlfriend bought me a wallet. I hate wallets.

The common questions section of the website makes me want to buy something from them. It doesn't hurt that the stuff looks bombproof.

"Are the animals tortured before they are slaughtered?

Absolutely not! With some pigs we do use waterboarding and sensory deprivation techniques previous to slaughtering them, but the cows do not require any special handling.

Where can I see one of the wallets in person?

I don't have any of the items in stores and we're not big fans of folks coming to our home in San Antonio because of the weirdo factor. My sister, Patricia and her husband (my Chess and Scrabble nemesis), send out the leather from their place near Ft. Worth, Texas, but again, because of the weirdo factor they're not set up to show either. If it helps, everyone tells me that they look better in person."

For me, clear plastic windows are a no-go. They scuff and crack, and they're often too tight to easily slide an ID in and out. Any doorman worth a damn makes you take it out of the wallet anyway.

+1 on the Saddleback. I've been using a bifold for the past 18 months or so and am completely pleased. The bifold was quite a bit thicker than I expected, but I adapted.

I've been using a custom Makr Carry Goods navy shell cordovan flap wallet for the last two years. Fits my 6 or 7 card objects, and some folded bills. Real simple.

I've been carrying a Coach billfold made out of water buffalo hide for some time now. Awesome stuff, if a little pricey. The last Coach I had lasted a decade or more, but when it came time to replace it I cheaped out and bought some Chinese-made job at TJ Maxx. Lesson learned. Three years later, I threw that piece of junk away and bought my current Coach. And five days after that, I found my girlfriend's Boykin Spaniel gnawing on it under the bed. If the dog wasn't so awesome, my next wallet would have been made out of Boykin.

Sometimes I think it would be fun to get a new wallet. But the Coach that I have carried for seven or eight years looks good and simply won't wear out. Maybe I could borrow the Boykin for a couple of days?

    I like that thompsons wallet.

I have been using a Clarks Harness Leather Wallet for a few years. I don't carry a lot of cards or anything so I like a thin small wallet. Space for 4 cards and an elastic band to hold your cash like a money clip.

I was not aware that wild stallions could be tamed.

I rock the medium-sized binder clip. Works great.

This thread seems incomplete without an image of my current stand-in. I think my daughter "picked this out" for me on father's day when she was 3.

I want a Flat Head wallet/card case. But since I wouldn't drop that much money on one - my next wallet will probably be from Tanner Goods or Maxx & Unicorn.

I've got this guy. Problem is - cards that are placed in the upper card slot crack because they get bent every time I sit down.

Been thinking about getting something from one of those SuFu posters. Corter, maybe. For whatever reason, I'm super picky about my wallets.
