The problem is 24 hr a day news channels x 139 or however many there are. Used to be the news stories were selected for validity. Now everything is "newsworthy", no matter how lame or insignificant it is (to me).

The days of responsible journalism are long gone, though this is only one degree of the other 359 degrees of issues.

Politicizing a murder is in poor taste, though I won't be sad if the sarahpac is a victim of this senseless tragedy.
