Ivar's Acres of Clams on the Seattle waterfront. Double (5 piece) fish and chips and an extra order of fries to fling to the seagulls. In my early to mid 20's I was stationed on a ballistic missile submarine out of Bangor, WA so I'd be gone for three months at a time. When I'd get back, we'd spend a few days turning over to the other crew and then take 4 days off before going back to work. I'd catch the ferry out of Winslow (Bainbridge Island) to Seattle and walk the two blocks to Ivars, have my lunch and then walk to Pike Street Market where I'd buy some steaks from the butcher and some picture perfect vegetables to grill. Didn't really have a go-to beer, whatever was cold was good.

You guys aren’t talking about real junk food.
Mix a can of SpaghettiOs with meatballs and a can of SpaghettiOs with franks, heat until edible (term used loosely here), and dig in. Wash it down with a bag of Utz Carolina BBQ chips and a couple Tecates.

This may be a winner. I have never been through a drive thru at a White Castle without noticing that EVERY concrete barrier painted white on the way to the window has marks from being kissed by a bumper. In the Northeast it is the go to junk/fast food late in the evening for over-served young'uns.
That said, the diner I frequented in school in Poughkeepsie during the wee hours had a thing they called the Klondike which was scrambled eggs with chopped meat mixed into it on toasted white. Not really junk food unless one considers the locale at 3 in the morning.

Most recently: Hardly single just a night batchin it this summer...
Brew pub near Palmyra NY, spicy, spicy wings and fries, double IPAs, half a pack of 'Merican Spirits, some Dale's Pale ale to wash it down, the gentle swaying of my hammock beside the C&O after staggering back to my campsite at 1AM.... Aaaand scratch that let's switch to the tent and Terra Firma. No gentle swaying after that perfect gut storm!
And I forgot! I nearly died climbing Lincoln Gap in VT the next day.
hard to top a real Quebec poutine in this category, or the once popular in New Orleans Cheese-Fries
In college, we used to time the drive from Olympia WA (where college was) to San Francisco so we would arrive at 10 am when Taqueria La Cumbre was opening. Get a Super Steak Burrito and a Negro Modelo and consume them in Mission Park.
